FAQ's
Below are some questions we receive and also some answers that clarify our services and online Ford Parts Catalog.
Are orders/shipments affected by COVID-19 ? During this critical pandemic, we are doing our level best to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. The good news is that the shipping services we use (FedEx, USPS, and UPS) are considered essential services and are working very hard to continue deliveries as undisrupted as possible. Unfortunately, some shipping services have been affected. Within the United States this can mean by airline cancellations and regional restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, we can not guarantee normal delivery time frames until further notice. We thank you for your patience as we endeavor to get your parts to you as quickly as possible.
Will the parts I purchase be genuine manufacturer parts for my car ? That's a definite Yes. We are pleased to offer our customers the entire OEM Ford catalog of new authentic Ford Parts and Accessories as well as original re-manufactured parts. Every auto part and accessory is a genuine authorized replacement from your Ford, Lincoln and Mercury, identical to the original part that came with your vehicle.
We will even confirm that the Ford Parts you’re considering are the exact match for your specific vehicle by supplying your VIN at checkout. You get the same parts you’d find at your dealership but at better prices and with the convenience of shopping from home.
Is there anything else I should know about your online catalog? Although the majority of the catalog is correct, updates or omissions by manufacturers can at times result in changes in pricing or part numbers. If such a case should occur, you will be notified by email before we process your order.
Is my personal and financial information safe with you ? Protecting your personal, financial, and private information is of the utmost importance to us. We are committed to high standards that are maintained to protect your confidentiality and safeguard your personally identifiable information and your rights as a consumer.
Do you ship Internationally ? No. We only ship in the lower 48 in the United States and Hawaii and Alaska.
What are common Ford Parts that get replaced most often? Spark plugs, turn signals, headlights, brakes pads and rotors, door lock cylinders and door handles, starters, and windshield wiper blades are some of examples of frequent OEM replacement parts.
Do I save on OEM Ford Parts at OEMFord.parts? Yes. At times we run specials on overstock parts. We have competitively priced Ford Parts because we have been an Authorized OEM Ford Parts Reseller Since 1948! We place Value, Trust, Honesty and Integrity foremost in our company and always have. We want our customers to get their needed parts as quickly as possible in new undamaged condition. If the carrier does have an issue then review our Return/Refund policies for return instructions and we'll make it right speedily.
Why is there a core charge and why do I need to pay it? A core charge is a fee you pay when buying a new part, that will be returned to you when you send your used part you're replacing back. For example you buy a brake caliper for $200 and there's a $50 core charge. You will pay a total of $250 when you order. When the new caliper arrives, you'll take the box it came in, and place your used caliper inside, and send it back to the manufacturer. When they get it, you will be credited back the $50 core charge, making your net payment only $200. Ford can pass on savings and better prices by re-building many parts and you are also helping the environment by letting Ford re-use the part for someone else.
